John Deere has unveiled the new model year 2025 full-size Gator™ Crossover Utility Vehicles, highlighting a range of customer-driven improvements and advanced features that set a new standard in utility vehicles. These enhancements are designed to meet the unique needs of agricultural producers and rural lifestyle customers. The new XUV 845 and XUV 875 models replace the XUV835 and XUV865 models for model year 2025.
Here's a closer look at what makes the 2025 John Deere Gator™ models stand out.
2025 Gator Provides More Cargo Management
One of the most outstanding upgrades in the 2025 Gator™ is the all-new cargo box, which offers a class-leading volume of 524 liters (18.5 cubic feet). This is a 13% increase from previous models, allowing for more efficient transport of materials. The cargo box is also 10 cm (4 in.) wider, aligning aesthetically with the cab and minimizing the need for fender flares by reducing dirt and mud throw.
Constructed from a structural composite material, the new cargo box is corrosion-resistant and features built-in slots and tie-down points, making it incredibly versatile. Whether you need to divide the cargo area or secure heavy loads, the cargo box can be quickly configured to meet the demands of any job.
New Innovative Tailgate
The 2025 Gator™ also introduces a versatile tailgate designed to function as a portable workbench. With a flat work surface, v-channel, reinforced clamping pockets, and bump stops, the tailgate can securely hold both round and square-edged objects. Additional features include a ruler, storage pockets for small items, and cupholders, making it an indispensable tool for any worksite.
New Gators Have Advanced Technology
The new Gator™ models come equipped with updated precision ag technology components and a new GreenStar™ ready option. This includes a roof mount for a StarFire™ receiver, a pivoting bracket for a universal display, and integrated wiring harnesses. The GreenStar ready option lowers the entry price and is compatible with multiple StarFire receivers and GreenStar displays, enhancing the vehicle’s boundary mapping capabilities.
John Deere Gators Provide Comfort and Convenience
The 2025 Gator™ has seen significant upgrades in terms of comfort and convenience. New 40/60 split three-passenger bench seats made from marine-grade vinyl or premium vinyl provide durability and style. The vehicle also features factory-installed radios with Bluetooth® streaming and hands-free calling options, ensuring an enjoyable ride.
Improved Performance in 2025 Gator Models
Performance enhancements include a quieter and more durable exhaust system made from stainless steel, relocated engine and CVT intakes to minimize dirt and snow ingestion, and a retuned suspension system for better passenger comfort over rough terrain. Additionally, all models now come with an 85-amp alternator, ensuring plenty of power for all your needs.
Utility and Safety Features
For added utility, the Gator™ features a 12-V power port in the cargo box, useful for powering attachments like spreaders or sprayers. Safety has also been improved with standard full underbody skid plates to protect the vehicle.
