Farm and Agriculture
In the ever-evolving world of precision agriculture, managing your connections within the John Deere Operations Center is crucial for maximizing your operational efficiency. This guide will walk you through the steps to manage and remove a connected software company connection seamlessly.
Viewing Your Connections
You can view your organization’s connections in two straightforward ways:
-
Via the Setup Menu:
- Click on Setup in the header and navigate to Connections. Here, you’ll find all companies your organization is connected to listed at the top of the screen under Organization Connections. If you haven’t connected with any companies yet, you can explore additional companies within the John Deere ecosystem under Available Connections.
-
Through the Team Section:
- Select Setup and then navigate to Team. Click on Connections to see each connected software company along with the access levels granted to your organization.
Managing Access Levels
If you need to adjust the access levels for a particular software company, follow these steps:
- From the Connections section, find the software company you wish to manage and click Manage.
- Click on Edit to modify the access levels as necessary.
- Once you’ve made your changes, remember to click Save to ensure they are applied.
Removing a Connection
Should you wish to remove a connection, the process is straightforward:
- Click Remove at the bottom of the pop-up window. After this action, the connected software company will be listed under Available Connections, and data sharing with that company will cease.
Viewing Connection History
To track who made the connection, navigate to Organizations. Here, you can see which staff member or organization partner established the connection and the date it was made.
Managing Partner Access
To manage access for partners, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Team, then Selected Partners.
- Choose the desired partner and click on Access Granted.
- Click Edit and expand the drop-down for Organization Management.
- Check the box for Share Organization Data with Connected Software to control partner access accordingly.
To manage dealer access, select Dealer, choose the dealer, and follow similar steps to disable data sharing.
