In head-to-head trials led by Beck’s Practical Farm Research (PFR)®, John Deere’s ExactEmerge planter was evaluated against Case IH and Fendt under real-world Midwest field conditions. Every machine was prepared and run by factory representatives to ensure a fair comparison, and the results were independently measured by Beck’s.
The findings confirm what farmers in Ohio, Indiana, and beyond already know: John Deere delivers on its promise of stand establishment and yield fundamentals, even with variable seed sizes and planting speeds.

Corn Stand Count: John Deere secured the highest corn stand at 32,493, ahead of both Fendt and Case IH in identical fields and conditions.

Soybean Stand Count: John Deere led the pack again with 104,540 soybeans per acre, outperforming the competition and setting the stage for strong yields.

Emergence & Spacing: Early, uniform emergence is critical for maximizing return. John Deere delivered industry-best results in both rapid emergence and targeted seed spacing, helping plants thrive without competition.
