Same-Day Parts Delivery: Get What You Need Today, Not Next Week

Written by Koenig Equipment | Aug 12, 2026, 6:39:56 PM

Modern expectations for delivery have changed. What used to take a week now feels slow at three days. What used to take three days now feels slow if it does not arrive today. Large retailers built their entire logistics infrastructure to meet that expectation, and they trained a generation of buyers to assume that fast delivery is the default rather than the exception.

As of today, same-day delivery is live at every Koenig Equipment store, and it changes the answer to the question "how fast can you get me that part?" in a way that puts us alongside the biggest names in retail without giving up the human expertise you actually need when the part matters.

Same-day parts delivery

You can now get same-day delivery of parts, accessories, small attachments, and merchandise. Available from every Koenig Equipment store across Ohio and Indiana. There are two ways you can get something to your door if we have it in stock.

The self-serve path is Koenig Marketplace. Search for the part, add it to your cart, and choose local delivery at checkout. If the item is in stock at a store within the same-day radius of your delivery address, you will see the same-day option with an estimated delivery window. Choose it, complete checkout, and the driver arrives within the window. The whole flow is designed to work without a phone call and only a few taps.

The counter path is calling your local store. If you would rather talk to a parts specialist (because you are not certain which part number you need, or the machine is in the field and you would rather describe symptoms, or you just prefer talking to a person who knows the equipment) call the store directly. The parts specialist looks up the part, confirms stock, quotes the delivery fee, and confirms it with you in real time.

Maybe try out both options to see which you like best!

The four things that have to be true

Same-day delivery is a real commitment, which means being honest about when it is available and when it is not. Four conditions all have to line up:

1. The item is in stock at a Koenig store. Not on order, not backordered, not being pulled from a shelf. Physically on the shelf, ready to grab.

2. That store is within 30 miles of your delivery address. Every Koenig store has a same-day service radius of up to 30 miles. Between the coverage areas across Ohio and Indiana, most rural, suburban, and small-city addresses in the region sit inside at least one store's radius. Farther distances add time and risk for us making sure we get you what you need, so if you are on the outer edge or beyond, we may recommend a next-day option to make sure the delivery lands right the first time.

3. The order is placed before the local cutoff. Same-day requires the order to be placed at least 90 minutes before your store closes. It's the best window our team needs to pull, pack, and hand off to the driver.

4. The item qualifies for same-day handling. Parts, accessories, filters, small attachments, apparel, and merchandise are all in. Tractors, mowers, larger implements, etc. are not part of this even though you can get equipment delivered from our team.

When the conditions do not line up, we still get you the part

The four eligibility gates exist so that when we say same-day, we mean same-day. When those gates do not all clear, that is not the end of the conversation. It's the start of a different one.

If the part you need is at a Koenig store outside the same-day radius, our internal parts network can typically move it to your local store overnight, which means next-day pickup or next-day local delivery.

If the part isn't at one of our stores today, we can order it from John Deere or the appropriate supplier and give you a realistic delivery estimate. In many cases, that means 1 to 3 business days, sometimes faster depending on the part and the shipping tier. Our parts specialists will walk through the timing honestly so you can plan around it. If the item is a specialty attachment or larger equipment that does not qualify for the same-day network, our local delivery team handles it directly, and the store will schedule the drop with you at a time that works.

Our commitment is "same-day when the conditions are right, and a straight answer with a real timeline when they are not." That distinction will always matter to us.

Why this specific combination is different

Amazon has same-day in major metros. Home Depot has same-day in some markets. Both companies are extraordinarily good at logistics. Neither one carries the OEM parts most Ohio and Indiana equipment owners actually need, and neither one has a rural-market delivery footprint that reaches the places where the equipment actually operates.

Local dealers, including Koenig, have historically been walk-in only. Great parts expertise, real relationships with the specialists, but you drove to the counter or you waited for a scheduled shipment. We're excited to offer the same-day delivery that actually fits the Customer we serve:

  • the farmer whose combine is 12 miles from the store and needs a hydraulic filter before he goes back to harvesting

  • the homeowner whose zero-turn belt broke on a Saturday morning

  • the contractor whose skid steer track link snapped in the middle of a job.

Human expertise is still the difference

Fast delivery is a table-stakes expectation now. What's not is the person on the other end of the phone knowing what a 200CX loader park brake looks like, or being able to walk you through which fuel filter fits which S780 configuration, or telling you honestly that the cheaper aftermarket part is fine for this application but not for another.

That expertise is what our parts specialists have built over years and, in some cases, decades. Same-day delivery does not replace that. It amplifies it. When you call the store and describe a problem, the specialist can now solve it not just by getting you the right part, but by getting it to you today (if we have it).

For the self-serve customer using Koenig Marketplace, the same expertise sits one click behind every product page. Chat, phone, or email connects you to the specialist for the questions the search bar does not answer. The e-commerce channel is not a replacement for the counter conversation. It's another way to have the same conversation, structured around your preference.

Stocking what matters

Before any of this provides value to you, the customer, there's one thing that simply has to be true: the item has to be in stock. That puts real operational responsibility on how we plan inventory across our locations.

Over the coming months, our parts and merchandising teams are going to be paying closer attention than ever to which parts move fastest, which parts Customers are asking about most, and which parts have gaps in local availability that create friction. The goal is straightforward: the parts that matter most to you should be the parts we have in stock, ready to leave the store on short notice.

What we hear from you shapes what we stock. Same-day delivery gets more useful as our stocking gets sharper.

What our same-day radius actually covers

Worth spending a moment on the geographic reality of what our same-day radius covers.

With 30-mile coverage from every Koenig store across Ohio and Indiana, the same-day radius reaches most of the primary agricultural counties in western Ohio and eastern Indiana, most of the suburban and rural residential markets where our lawn and garden customers live, and the vast majority of the commercial contractor jobsites we support.

A few specific examples to make it concrete:

  • A farmer harvesting corn in Shelby County can order a hydraulic filter from Anna and have it at the field before lunch
  • A homeowner in Bloomington whose Z520M belt broke Saturday morning can order the replacement from the Bloomington store and mow the same afternoon
  • A landscape contractor working a jobsite outside Lebanon can have a skid steer track link delivered to the site while the crew continues working
  • A homeowner near Greenville can order a maintenance kit and have it arrive the same day the mail would have arrived a filter shipped standard freight

All of those cases sit within the same-day radius of a Koenig store carrying inventory.

Save a trip, we'll get the parts to you

The next time you need a part, try both paths and see which one fits how you like to work.

For the self-serve experience: open Koenig Marketplace, search for the part, add it to your cart, and check the local delivery option at checkout. If same-day is available for your address, it will show up with an estimated delivery window. Complete checkout, and the driver takes it from there.

For the counter experience: call your local Koenig store, describe what you need, and let the parts specialist do the rest. Whether it goes out same-day, next-day, or scheduled for a longer timeline, you get a straight answer and a real timeline before you hang up.

Either way, the goal is the same and you can save a lot of time.

It's the combination we think Ohio and Indiana equipment owners have been waiting for, and it's available at every Koenig Equipment store.
