StarFire™ 3000 receivers had a software update released in August 2020. The most current version of StarFire™ 3000 is 2.80 S. If you are having issues with your StarFire™ 3000 receiver, the first step is to verify you installed the 2.80 S version. As of February 1, 2021, the update was required to avoid any interruption in function.
If you are operating with a StarFire™ 6000 or StarFire™ 6000 Integrated Receiver, the most current software update is version 4.50 P which was released in March 2021. This update allows for the StarFire™ 6000 to utilize GLONASS with Mobile RTK access subscriptions where available. This update also has improved stability when using AutoTrac™ in reverse at slow speeds.
In January of 2022, John Deere released software update 21-3 (version: 10.21.2144-121) for Generation 4 displays (4600 v2/4640/4240/4200). Some of the updates in the 21-3 version include:
